Talisman (Rectangular Japanese Paper Charms)

The talisman is an old japanese spell used in an area inside and out to protect the area from bad spirit and the user can write on it casting a spell.

The user of the talisman can create and use paper charms and wards for various things The spells and effects can be prepared in peace, with time and care, thus making them more potent than those of other forms of magic but you have to be limited by the number of talisman the user carries. You have to pre-pare it

They have a rectangular shape and as well as good there is evil commands as well like summoning shikigamis (death gods). So you must be careful how you use it. The more powerful spells need verbal communication as well or gestures of the hand. Some people would burn it and eat the ashes for temporary supernatural effects.( wouldn't reccomend it).

There is also a god charm made of paper in the shape of a person which can also act as a talisman and  needs verbal indications. It's used in the manga and anime Corpse Party as it is cleary displayed there the consequences of using it for evill or just flat out doing it wrong. Most people prefer the typical talisman as do I.
